bayeux tapestry

The Bayeux Tapestry is actually an embroidery, commissioned by Bishop Odo. It tells the story of the events leading up to and including the Battle of Hastings on October 14, 1066: the Invasion of England by William the Conquerer. It is roughly 20 inches tall and 230 feet long. We offer many fine reproductions of several scenes.

Customer testimonials

"This is my third purchase experience in your site and, as always, I am invited to return and to recommend the site to my family and friends. If I would rate The Mille Fleurs site in a scale 1 to 10 (Best), I would rate as 11. It is just great. Thanks for your excellent service. "

Let me begin by saying 'thank you' to all at Mille Fleurs Tapestries. I am an extremely fussy shopper. Michelin's highest grade is 4 stars. Hollywood rarely gives 5 stars. Gold is the highest honor at the Olympic Games. For customer service, quality of goods, and value for money, Mille Fleurs Tapestries sets the gold standard. You don't have to go to Brugge to get top quality Flemish woven goods. This is my 'go to' store from now on. Whatever the time of year, start your Christmas shopping now!
