Saqqarah, blue

This tapestry represents the giving of sacrifices to the Pharaoh who deceased. This is displayed on the tomb of Ptahotep in Sakkarah. This dates from the Ancient Empire (2650-2150 before Christ). Saqqara (or Sakkara, Saqqarah, Sakkarah) is a vast, ancient burial ground in Egypt, featuring the world's oldest standing step pyramid.
