A tapestry designed by the Flemish painter Frans Van der Maulen (1632-1690) and woven at the Manufacture des Gobelins. The scene commemorates the French victory over the Spanish in Flanders in 1667 and depicts the French army crossing the Bruges canal followed by Louis XIV, the Prince of Conde and the Marquis of Crequy. The original is housed in the Palace of Versailles.
The tapestry is fully lined with a strong cotton fabric. There is a rod pocket provided on the top.
