Parasol (Goya)

€ 201.00

This cartoon was part of the second series of ten tapestries that were commissioned to Goya in 1776, destined for the Dining Room of the Prado Palace. The fresh and warm colouring, the damsel responding to a gallant flirtation, and the lit background make this one of Goya's most cheerful paintings.

The tapestry is fully lined with a strong cotton fabric. There is a rod pocket provided on the top.
