Inspired from the famous "Tentures des Indes", set of the 8 tapestries woven at the Gobelins during the XVIIth century. The original artwork was designed by Albert Eckhout and depicts the exotic flora, fauna and natives of the Dutch colonies. These tapestries met great success and were woven all through the XVIIIth century.
The tapestry is fully lined with a strong cotton fabric. There is a rod pocket provided on the top.
