From a Flemish "Oudenaerde" tapestry, Venus and Adonis, very popular from the end of the mid XVIIIth century. This version, showing just the setting, is nicely balanced with soft colors.
The tapestry is fully lined with a strong cotton fabric. There is a rod pocket provided on the top.
