Commissioned by Louis XVI, this piece is part of a set of four wall hangings depicting the four continents: America, Europe, Asia, and Africa.

Originally designed by Jean Jacques François Le Barbier and woven by the end of the 18th Century.

This tapestry features convenient hooks on the back, allowing for effortless hanging. While it does show some flaws in the fabric, the overall result remains very impressive.
