The Taking of Lille

One of 14 tapestries called 'The History of the King'. The city of Lille, in the Flanders, was taken over the Spanjards in 1667. The king, Louis the XIVth, is seen with his military commanders Vauban and Turenne.

The tapestry is fully lined with a strong cotton fabric. There is a rod pocket provided on the top.
