King Sigismund Augustus of Poland, later to become Emperor, commissioned these impressive tapestries from Michiel Coxcie of Mechelen in the mid-16th century. They were moved back and forth to several countries, mainly due to wars, but now form part of the state collection housed in the Wawelburcht Castle in Cracow.

The tapestry is fully lined with a durable cotton fabric, ensuring both strength and structure. A rod pocket is conveniently provided at the top for easy hanging, making it simple to display your piece with elegance and stability.
